Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - cleaning my gsg-5 for the first time - got a question

Its my first day with the gun and I'm trying to follow the instructions that came with the gun.

In one place it says "Lubricate the cleaning brush with gun oil and insert it into the barrel via the chamber."

On the next page it says "Clean the barrel with a long brush from the front end"

So what end do I clean this thing from?

cleaning from the chamber protects the muzzle crown, and is usually the proffered method if you can do it.  I use a bore snake from the breach on mine.

Thanks.   The manual that came with the gun was little help putting the gun back together.   Thank god for the internet...there was somebody who posted the video that was very helpful.
