I am curious if anyone has direct experience running a PVS-30 on a SCAR 17?

I have now had two people tell me they have run their -30/17 together with no issues. Looking for more real-world experience to support/deny this claim.

I also recently called KAC and spoke to Justin. He said albeit not directly tested, he believes that (50bmg rating aside) the -30 would hold up to the SCAR’s unique recoil due to how well it is built internally. Would he put that in writing? No chance in hell.

Yes, I am aware of the SCAR’s reputation of destroying optics and I am aware of specific CAR hardened laser devices. Simply trying to gather input on clip-on devices.

While we’re at it, might as well toss the SCAR 20s into the conversation as well.

I have no personal experience other than I have that same concern, and thus I've never run my PVS 30 on my scar 20S. I have also emailed KAC and received no response.

Someone’s gotta try it, right?
