Mod note: We all like to share when we buy a new can, or multiple cans...as sometimes our friends and family just aren't quite as excited as we are. So, post it up, tell us all...get it off your chest. What did you buy? Tell us where and how much if you want to. Heck, tell us why you chose it over something else if you want to. Tell us the host(s) you plan on using. It's your moment in the spotlight, so be proud...we may be the only ones who actually care and/or understand.
Ordered a Silencerco Octane 9 and an AAC SDN-6 from the new Silencer Shop website. I bought the stamps from them too. |

Ordered my first can on Christmas’s Eve (Merry Christmas to meeeeee ).. and like many, it surely won’t be the last. Found an AAC 762-SD for $419 on GAG and it was too good of a deal to pass up. I’ll be mounting to a 16” 300 Blackout AR so it’s going to be looooong, but I don’t do much trudging through thick woods with it.
Now the wait begins... would love to hear others experiences with this can. |
|
|
That’s a nice looking trio!
I was a couple hours too late on the CapArm deal on the SDN-6 for $399. Came across it while I out on the lake and didn’t have my CC on me... and when I got back to my truck, it was sold out. No regrets though, time to start working up some sub loads and doing some stability testing . |

Just purchased my first suppressor, AAC 762-SDN-6, yesterday through The Silencer Shop. Went to a local SS kiosk to take care of the fingerprint and data entry, downloaded their app on my phone, and uploaded my photo. I had no clue the process to apply for a suppressor was this easy!

My first form 4 after doing some form 1's.
Dead Air Mask. I wanted the easy tear down and stainless bases to allow tumbling with stainless pins for cleaning. |

Dead Air Sandman S. Form rcvd 12/25 money order deposited 1/4. Now the true wait begins!

Sico Specwar 556K for $450

YHM Nitro for $425. Couldn't pass up the deal...NIB including everything but the muzzle device, which isn't an issue.
First 41F purchase. |
|
|
Picked up an Osprey Micro. Split the “2 for $300” deal. Didn’t need any more 22 cans but for $150 each it’s hard to say no.

AAC Element 2, for two reasons:
1. I don't have one, and it was a deal (I think) 2. I try to keep at least a 1:1 ratio (mainly for sighting in purposes) and am considering buying my son a 22 rifle for his 12th birthday in November, so I need to have the can ready. ...and that's three posts (4 cans) in this thread in three days, after not buying a can in the last 2 years...so I quit, for now. |

Craaaap. Capitol got me on the element 2 and micro osprey for 330$. I have a problem

Sandman K through a LGS dealer. Finishing the rest of the 41F trust BS Friday...it's a major PITA with multiple trustees.

|
Surefire 556RC from Arms Unlimited.
I can stop whenever I want. Really. It's not a problem. I can handle this. |

I bought 4 stamps and 2 Sandman S's through Silencer Shop last night for our 2-10" .300 BO's. I'm trying to decide on a 7.62 can for my AR10 build in progress, 18" barrel, and and a 9mm can for a 4.5"-5.5" 9mm SBR yet to be built.
The choices are mind-numbing. |

First NFA purchase - Dead Air Mask HD from SilencerShop. No hosts yet but looking at a 22/45 lite, some sort of 10-22 barrel, and a savage bolt gun.

Capitol got me too on one of the $230 element 2s

I Fo'd tonight on a Sig Sauer SRD762 QD for my .300blk pistol. This is my first NFA purchase. Super geeked despite the long wait ahead. Is there a time frame in which you have to get to a S.S. kiosk for finger prints?

Rdot, my LGS told me to get everyone on the trust an account with SS, buy what I wanted, then have everyone come in for prints and photos at the kiosk.
He didn't specify any time frame but we'll all get in well before the transfer takes place. Oh, and I just bought a Rugged Obsidian 9. That makes three cans this weekend. This is just too easy. |

I bought a Sandman K today. That makes four since 1-13.

Just purchased an Optimus micro. This will be my first can and I was really wanting a rimfire sized suppressor that could handle my k-hornet. This should fit the bill nicely.

Maybe slightly more. AAC informed me the ratchet system isn't designed nor the best for precision. Was literally my first can and I didn't know better... But it is very quiet with .308, 300bo and 556... Led to buying a 556SD which I am very pleased with. |

I would totally buy another Element 2 for $230, but I need to cool my jets for a while and recover. And finish a bunch of other things I got going in various states right now.

Got to fondle my YHM TURBO 5.56 from Gamaliel today.
I suggest you guys strongly consider it. Pretty light at 13.5oz for the size of it. Numbers from MAC's youtube review vid look awesome as well. I am excited for that one to come back... Just mailed forms today, so it's going to be a long wait |

Just picked up a oss helix 556 can for $450 from Copper Customs. I know they're the new kid on the block but does anyone have one. Hearing mixed reviews: quiet but big and heavy. This will be replacing Silecerco. Saker 762 as a dedicated 556 can for my ARs, so it is smaller and lighter then that, but not by much.
Edit: I found A dedicated thread. More of the same some people saying they're no good others praising them For $450 I'm willing to take the chance I guess. |
