I have been trying to research this build and am having a hard time finding compatible parts. I'm looking to do an SBR in 300 BLK with a 12'' rail. I want to tuck most of the can under the rail. Build needs to be under 16'' with can. Basically I'm looking for a short suppressor that doesn't have something like the AAC ratchet system that would allow me to take it off. I can't use a 9 because ideally I'd like to use it for 5.56 too.

There is a suppressor forum just for questions like this, but any thread on 308 suppressor will work. There are quite a few options.

I saw a super short 30 cal can but it was 2" dia.

Here's a 6" x 2" can for 300 blk/.308/.223

Gemtech has a new dedicated 300 BLK can coming out. Monocore, thread on and pretty light.

I don't believe it's rated for 5.56mm, so if you want a multi-purpose can, that may not be the best option for you though.

Looks like I'm probably going to use a 9mm can that is multi-caliber. I can get something short that way I suppose.
