I want to build up a new upper and am thinking about a 14.5" barrel.  I want to have the freedom to use the upper on my title I lowers.  If a bilock is permanently attached on a 14.5" barrel, is it over 16"?  I assume so, but I need confirmation.

My A2 bilock is 2-1/16 in long.

Is that counting the .6" of thread or not.  It would need to be 1.5" from the muzzle crown to make it to 16" and welded on of course.

When the Bi-Lock is perm. mounted to a 14.5" barrel it meets the 16" requirement.  Have Gemtech or ADCO do the work.

Hey Zak, aren't the tabs on the FH supposed to be horizontal, straight out to the sides?

Not if he's trying to avoid gas on his optics.

Gas escaping from the back of the suppressor can coat the objective lenses of optics with residue. Placing the lug in the vertical position helps deflect it away.
