Google sheets app, input all info from every gun and suppressor. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
Quoted: You'll get the hang of it eventually... my suggestion: Excel spreadsheet, with replacement cost, serial# and any important info about said item, ex: "SD can only fits specific guns, ser# XXX-XXX" (And I also note the date forms were mailed.) If you use something like Excell locally and have backup copies, including hardcopy and off-site, you're covered. Google sheets have a nasty habit of bricking themselves, and there is no cloud magic that will save your data. |

Is it possible to have this as a one stamp gun? I don’t want another SBR.
|

I wasn’t clear. I want it in a rifle configuration and single stamp.

Not that I am aware. Pin and weld a suppressor bringing total OAL barrel to 16"
|
|
It would have to be an extended suppressor and likely would have to be done during the build since you can't easily get to the back of the can to pin and weld it once the cage is on. And then you'll have the issues with the suppressor filling with lead over time. Totally not worth it.

I have 9mm cans from 25 years ago. No appreciable leading after 10a of thousands of commercially loaded ammo.

Quoted: Ported barrel? I mean, I always thought the unique advantage of the MP5 was the rollerlock.... Is the SD quieter than another modern supressor? This really turns me off. View Quote The advantage of the SD is that it turns any 9mm ammo into subsonic ammo thus making it quieter. The cans above went north of 75K rounds without cleaning. They need cleaning every 1-2K rounds and the barrel needs a few swipes with the cleaning tool every 500 or so. |

How well does the MP5SD do in regards to gas to the face when shooting indoors? Love shooting my full auto MP5 outdoors with a suppressor... but just tried to do it indoors the other week... and couldn't even make it through half a magazine without being blinded lol.

My lefty friends hate shooting the SD inside or out...right handed it doesn't bother me.

Those of you with TPM cans
What color are your baffles? Apparently they are using a new stack just recently red in color; although Im not certain if theres actually a design change or if they just anodized them red |

Omega OM9 SD K with a Gemtech Mutimount. Wanted the SD look without having to deal with the SD cleanup.

Quoted: Did you get anything figured out on this? The numbers do seem high. I would just venture a guess that the SD would land in the low 120's View Quote Sorry I missed this. I haven’t had a chance to experiment recently. I’m guessing ammo honestly. Side note, still waiting for my damn TPM SD-K can to clear. This process is complete bullshit. Sorry, just had to vent. |

Quoted: There really isn't any change with them other than making them on a new machine. We did anodize red just to spice things up a bit and make them look neater. View Quote The red does look pretty good from the pic I saw though But then again how often does one have perfectly clean baffles to show them off |

Just started the F4 for my TPM can. Hopefully I can get a receiver by the time it clears.

View Quote The MP5SD worked flawlessly I do not remember any blow back or trouble with being able to see or breath while using indoors and use used them alot inside buildings. So I do not know what the difference is between yours and what we were issued. Maybe the ammo? But I definitely will be buying an SD one day soon. I bought an MPX and suppressed it. It's a fantastic weapon and I really enjoy it. But I want the weapon I used while in battalion. It has kinda of nostalgia to me. |

I want to pick up an SD can soon and get that process going while i save my pennies for the gun. I’m going between the TPM full size can and the B&t SD can. Is there much if a difference between the two other than $470? Weight and size seem to be pretty similar. Is one quieter than the other? I know the TPM can is user serviceable; is the B&t can too? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks all!
