I recently purchased a Remington 700 ADL Synthetic. I want to turn it into a light-weight bush gun. Am intrigued by the scout style scope mounting and was wondering if there was a way to adapt it to my 700. Anyone done this yet?

Uuuuuhh?...Why forward mount a scope when there are excellent standard mounts available from Badger Ordnance and Leupold (Mk4s)?

To forward mount a scope, you'll have to find or fabricate mounting blocks for your barrel - probably not easy or cheap.
