For anyone who doesn't know about this yet, www.majesticarms.com makes a thing they call the Speed Strip Kit for any Ruger .22LR pistol.  It replaces the pin that holds the bolt in place with a screw-in two-piece pin.  The advantage is that you can simply remove the pin with a hex wrench, allowing you to remove the bolt for cleaning without having to disassemble the whole gun, which most people hate to do, since it can be difficult getting things lined up again when putting it back together.

I got one because I have a 22/45 with a Hogue Hand-All slip-on grip, which prevents access to the disassembly latch.  The kit also comes with a replacement hammer designed to work with the kit and allow the bolt to be removed and replaced easier.  As a bonus, you can still disassemble the pistol like normal if you want/need to, so there are no concerns of being stuck without the proper tool in the field.

I didn't want to make any permanent changes to my gun, so no gluing.  Plus, it would feel wierd with a split in the grip.

I doubt that this would violate the warranty, but you could always replace the stock parts before you send it in, if you ever had to.

Works great.  Just unscrew the pin and slide the bolt right out.  Makes cleaning a snap, and given the large number of rounds this gun sees whenever it's taken to the range, that's a GOOD THING.  Goes back together just as easily.

Nice idea, but those with lightened hammers, such as the Volquartsen, would have to pass, I suppose.  Too bad.

The hammer in question may work perfectly well with other match-grade aftermarket internals.  I can't say.  However, as hammer and sear are a matched pair in most match-grade pistols, I would be very hesitant to initiate a divorce.
In like fashion, it is usually considered unwise to install hammer, sear, and trigger from differing manufacturers, and expect them to work as well as pieces all of which are from the same manufacturer of match-grade components.
For standard-grade components, the concern is still valid, although of much less importance.
