Which adaptor should I buy to put a harris bipod on an M1A rifle?  Thanks.

I sent mine into Springfield and they installed a Swivel stud, $30 and they sent it back in a new M1A box.  Gene

I went the Uncle mikes route also.  I installed it myself with a machine screw swivel and home made nut.  I located the swivel behind the gas port on the stock and in front of the sling.  If you go the gas port replacement route I think your better off with the Military M2 bipod.
