i'm thinkin of takin a course to improve my pistol skills, need more instruction on how to move and shoot (and actually hit something) etc... any good one?  im in Virginia

aparantly Blackwater is in Va but are they all so pricey? $850 for 5 days is a good chunk o' money.  their $150 one day is much better for me (obviously) but is it worth it?

thanks

Of course it's worth it. But a one time trip won't help you long term unless you continually practice. So along with your 150 dollar course spend 35 and join IDPA.Better yet, join first then take the course, come back and see how much you've improved. Here's a link for your area.

Take a vacation to Las Vegas.  Take the 2day or 4 day course at Front Sight.  If you really want to lower your costs, take the free Nevada CCW course at Nevada Pistol Academy and get a certificate for a 1/2 price course at Front Sight.  Or, take Front Sight's free 1 day sub-gun course and get a 1/2 price certificate.
