Can bolt action rifles be bought online? Or do I have to goto a dealer like the AR-15? If so where is a good place to go look? As I would like to have it waiting on me when I get home.  Thanx

yes..all firearms made after i think 1899 need to be bought from a ffl unless it is a privet sale in your home state..unless your state has laws agint that.

You can buy a rifle online, but it has to be shipped to an FFL. Depending on where you live the FFL usually charges $ 20-50+, although some places are higher and some FFLs won't do it.
