I have a chance to get a semi auto Polish DP 28 M with a lot of accessories/ammo for about $1800 to $2000. It's never been fired since being built from the parts kit as well. The problem is that I know nothing about these and I want to know if this is a good deal and if these things run like crap?

It depends entirely on who built it. Look at their reputation

Nothing beats shooting the actual gun though.

We had one at TGI when I worked there. It was a hoot to fire on full auto.

It was built by Keeter Creek Machine in Texas. No way I can get to fire it before buying it.

I have one from Keeter Creek. The way the magazine seats in the weapon is the key. Some work better than others. I emailed the builder and they said shimming with cardboard helps.

I don’t get to shoot often but it is fun!
