Drawn to the DPM Systems Technology booth by the eye candy. I had the chance to speak and somewhat understand Mantas Dimitrios. Long story made short, he is the "inventor" of multispring mechanical systems for recoil reduction.  The technology looked interesting and he was kind enough to give me a set for my Sig 229 - 357.

I am hoping to go to the range this week and compare his system to the standard spring set up.

Anyone have any experience with this set up?

My SA Micro 1911 has the double spring set-up. Seems like the H&K USP's use them as well on their Compacts?????

This guy told me he approached Sig, HK and Glock. They never returned his call but came up with double springs soon after. His is a triple.

That's what I was told.  Regardless, I got a free one and the girl in the both was awesome.

Yep, he's Greek and I believe he is the owner of the company.
Here's his website http://www.dpmsystems.com/en/
and his American distributor http://deadbangguns.com/

ETA: This looks just like the spring setup that come on the USP/MK23 pistols and the baby Glocks, according to this guy they stole the idea from him? I'd be pissed.

He was a little upset. He did say the euro market was better with respect to innovation.

Seecamp has a patent on double recoil springs.

Telescoping return-spring assembly for automatic handguns

Abstract

A return-spring assembly for slide-type automatic pistols in which an inner spring and an outer spring are coupled together so that they work in tandem.

The text of the patent application lists many multiple spring sets ups some of which are similar, but obviously different enough to allow Seecamp to get a patent on his application.

IOW multiple springs are not a new idea.
