I was looking again for around $100 to maybe $550 I want to get some sort of night vision monocular or scope. I have seen some even at sportsmans guide and wondered if they are worth it?

looked at ...

Yukon™ Waterproof Night Vision NVMT 3 x 42 Sea Wolf Monocular

and...

Midget Elf-1™ Night Vision Monocular with built-in IR illuminator

please chime in.

Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for, sir.

I would suggest you spend as much as you can afford to & get a quality name brand & skip the "specials" from the discount catalog guys.

My sentiments as well, but wife will cut me off for a month if I spend 3k on a good one. Probably everyones scenario....I want good night vision and my wife wants Las Vegas for vacation this year.

Perhaps bet some money on the sly in Vegas and win enough for a quality unit.
