I thought I saw a neat chart here that showed all the different 5.7x28 cartridges and what the designations meant (SS196 vs SS197 etc...)

Can anyone post a link?

Thanks

Thanks

so which is potentially the least expensive cartridge?

The SS192? I see the SS196 for sale mostly but it is backordered. I can't imagine Hornady V-max bullets being less expensive than regular FMJ. Dealer pricing for the SS196 was about 30-36 cents a round.

I guess it depends on where you find it. Reports are anywhere from 18-30 for the 195, same for 196. As stated on the site, the 197 should be out soon(I hope) and that should drop the prices down a bit-supply and demand.
I doubt the 192 if found will be the least expensive, more like the most.

The SS192 round has been discontinued and is replaced by the SS195.  All commercial ammo is at the same price so one should not be much more expensive than the other.  The new SS197 (blue tip Hornady 40 gr. V-Max) will be out next month and is produced for FN by Fiocchi in the states.  All other rounds (SS190, SS191, Sb193) are all restricted to Govt/LE sales only

I have checked gunbroker previously but could not find them for sale at 18-20 cents a round. Where are people getting 5.7x28 at that price level? In ultra bulk quantities or special orders?

I've never seen it that low.  At its best, I've seen ss192 (a couple years ago) for 15.99 per 50, and ss195 at the same recently, but its gone now.
