This afternoon I was visiting my grandfather, and he gave me an old double barrel to take a look at. He said the safety was broken, so I offered to take a loook inside. It turns out a whole lot of parts are broken/missing.

Thing is, I'm not sure exactly what this shotgun is. It is an old Savage/Fox, I know that for sure. It's a 12 ga side by side 2 3/4" double barrel, single trigger. It has no serial number on it, at least anywhere I looked, and I stripped it down to the bare receiver. The only other markings are a "B" here and there (frame, barrel, etc). A little research turns up a whole lot of different "B-series" Savage shotguns. But which one, specifically?

I'd love to get this thing up and running again, as it has sentimental value. Can anybody offer any help or info??

Check e-gunparts.com for spare parts.  They often have odd and/or hard to find parts for out of production guns.  Good luck!
