What would be a fair asking price for a Winchester 94, 30-30?
It has the receiver safety, angle ejection, bought new for $300 in late 2003, only fired 20 rounds.
It is 100% condition.

Does $240 sound like a fair price?

Something I just noticed at the Winchester website, the MSRP is $377..... Wal-mart wouldn't drop $77 off their price, would they? Reason I ask, is that I'm not positive if I paid $300 or $400 - It was an approximate amount that I rounded off and forgot about.

If someone could help me out with this, I'd be appreciative. There is a buyer waiting on me.

Nobody sells guns for the MSRP. You probably did get it for $300.00 if you bought it from Walmart, maybe less. $240.00 sounds like a good deal, if you are willing to take a loss on what sounds like a near new rifle. Call Walmart and get their price, set your price from there. Never take loss on a firearm especially a like new firearm.

I checked Walmart.com. They list the Model 94 Traditional in .30-30 for $338.45. Local prices may vary of course.

Thanks for the help!
Yeah, I got it from Walmart. I gave them a call and they priced it at $325, so I'll try to get $280 for it.

Again, thanks for the help.

Around here they seem to go for about $200, I paid $225 for mine 2 years ago and it was a pre '64.

Good luck

I tend to like the Henery.

You mean Henry?  Which is not germain to this discussion.

Not sure about the regular size 94 in thutty-thutty... but my 94 Ranger Carbine in .357 was about $450 after TT&L.    Might have been able to find one cheaper, but I was at a fun show and couldn't help it.
