Wondering if the Ruger 77/44 can shoot 44SPL loads without hurting it.
The bullet would be jumping a good distance to the rifleing, so it may not be safe...but then again, it does the same thing in my 44 mag wheelguns.
Anyone know for sure?

Yeah, you can do it, but it fouls the chamber pretty bad, and I would expect accuracy to suck ass.

Yes, it can...in fact the 77/44 makes a FINE suppressed carbine with heavy .44Spl loads.
