Has any one ever done one? What colors are "spec"?What is the best material to cover the "demil" holes? I also will need to re-stamp the lettering in yellow on the front of the tube. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but I think it will be a coll project. Any advice or links to helpful advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, the only help I can give is the obligatory "I could have bought them by the truck load for $15.00 each way back when" post. Who knew they would ever be worth anything?

Ask yourself "Why was this thing de-milled in the first place?"

I don't think it's a good idea to re-mil the thing unless and until you find out for sure that doing so does not violate some law.

I don't have the answer, but I urge you not to proceed until you do.
