i think i saw this in the last blue press catalog.  looks like a cool idea.  i never put a scope on my marlin because i hate the side mounts.  but i dont see one for a 30-30.  theyve got them for 45-70, 450, 444, and 336.  could i just put one of them on my 30-30?
 

nevermind....im a dumbass.  i was thinking they meant 336 the cal., not the model#

XS Sight Systems
I've had my eye on the leverscout mount for some time. It's actually what got me looking at lever actions. I'm just not sure if I want to scope it out yet. As far as side mounts, mine was drilled and tappend on top of the reciever for rings. The lever scout, IIRC, uses at least one of those tapped holes, and the dove tail, to mount to. Something to consider.
