Hi Forum,
Although this is the AR-15 forum, maybe someone can help me with the following: In addition to my Bush AR15 I also own an ArmaLite AR-10, built by " "Artillerie Inrichtingen" in Hembrug, Zaandam, Netherlands. They were produced until approx. 1961. As they are quite rare, I am looking for people owning such rifle as well, to share experiences, exchange parts, and get to know more on the history of it.
Reactions very welcome..

I used to own one long ago.  I can share experiences, but not parts, as I no longer own the rifle.  I sold it to a buddy LONG ago.  Also the one I had had an aftermarket lower receiver, (H&H of Redwood City, CA) because of the various laws here in the US pertaining to machineguns.  The rest of the parts were original though.

Mine was what's commonly called the "Sudanese" version, which was the earlier version similar to the current Armalite's AR-10B in looks.  I helped a buddy build a "Portugese" (also known as the "NATO") version, which was the later one.

By far it is one of my favorite rifles, and one of the very few that I actually regret selling.  It was a great rifle.  Accurate, light (lighter than my SP-1), and perfectly balanced.  It also had plenty of nice to have features like a fluted barrel, fully adjustable gas regulator, and hard chromed bolt and carrier.

The current Armalites are a better executed design from the standpoint of strength and reliability, but the original was truly a cool rifle.
