I have several receivers lying around that I have not yet built up (i.e. AR, M1A, etc.).  I am probably not going to be able to get to them for a little bit due to time; I want to know, how should I store them?  I am planning on putting them in my safe, but should I wrap them in anything to keep them from suffering any type of damage and what not?  Thanks everyone in advance!

Heres a link where you can buy Static Intercept bags that protect from corrosion.

As for damage I'd just pick up some bubble wrap or the envelopes that are lined with it.  Then I'd put the parts in the Static Intercept bags and then put those in the bubble wrap. And Voila your gun is protected from corrosion for up to 20yrs and also protected from dings.  Hope this helps.

Brownells sells those types of bags as well. They are excellent for long term unopened storage.

Just wrap them in bubble wrap and stick them in the safe.  Keep them lightly oiled and check them every week or two.  If you're really worried, get yourself a Foodsaver vacuum sealer and vacuum seal the receivers in plastic.

Good idea.

For the M1A receiver, coat it with RIG grease or cosmoline, and store in a Ziploc bag.  BreakFree is also a pretty good rust preventative.

Get some big zip-loc bags. Put the recievers in there, with a few dessicant packets. That's the cheap way of doing it, and it should work just fine.
