There was a reference on the general disc. board about the OLY kits on sale...I'm wondering if there are any other good kits out there? Has anyone come across good deals on the kits???

Your help would be greatly appreciated...are JT kits any good? Others?

Thanks for gelp,

J&T are excellent qaulity and excellent value, plus the folks there are just great to work with. Built two 24" bull kits and both shoot sub 1/2moa. One I sent to cryo treatment and now shoots sub 1/4 moa. Can't ask for much more than that.

I'll second that, J&T kits are a great value.

I have no complaints with my 20" A2 kit from J&T.

The DPMS kits look good, but the uppers seem to come unassembled.  I have used their lower parts kits in a few rifles with good results.

I am also happy with my J&T M4 kit.  In fact, that's who I'm buying my next kit from.  Good prices and service, and my upper came assembled.

I've built 2 rifles on Rock River lowers using Model One kits. They both worked flawlessly. I would also strongly recommend Bushmaster for the spring kit as the hammer and trigger springs from Model One were a bit stiff. I've had excellent service from both companies.

Another vote for J&T! Their parts are manufactured by the same manufacturers that provide for the big name AR companies. The quality of their products is top-notch. Their Colt fire-control kit dropped into my Numrich/Continental lower like it was tailor-made for it. Shoots as well or better than any other AR I have ever handled. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Go to CMMG, order a new chrome lined chamber and bore DPMS M4A3 kit. $625 for the whole thing plus it comes with the new RRA 6 pos. telestock! You wont be sorry, the A3 upper even has the "Colt" style feed ramps!

Bushmaster makes outstanding stuff, and in light of the current environment, that is who I'd buy from....
