 A while back I saw some pics of an AR with the old style triangle handguards cut down to carbine length.
 Does anyone have anymore pics available,and the BEST way to go about "making" them,or are they commercially made now?

Do a search for ColtShorty and IM him.  They are commercially available and he knows where.
