Looking at buying a Colt from a friend.  It is all black parkerized, with the words "COLT TACTICAL" on the slide.  Beavertail grip safety, commander hammer, ambi safety, and what appears to be Colt's version of Novak sights.  Anyone ever seen one of these?  It all seems to be factory Colt- wondering what it's worth?
thanks,
ptp

Gun mfgrs, & Colt in particular, have discovered that they could put the word "tactical" on a product & raise the price by $50-100. For some, not necessarily you, the word "tactical" conjures up mystical properties about a gun. For others it doesn't mean squat.

Treat it like any other Colt with the same features. It'll probably fetch $450-500 used in 99-100% condition. Anything more is overpricing, IMO.
