I got two 30-round and one 40-round magazines from Cheaperthandirt.com about a month ago, I've hardly used them (Won't be a member of the gun club until the beginning of August), and they're starting to feel rough.  When I rub them with a tissue, the tissue gets rust smears on it.  Is this normal?  Should I coat it with something?  Should I get aluminum magazines?

All USGI 30 round mags are Aluminum.

Huh... must be a reason?

Steel mags for the AR are crap.
