 scott, check out the Board Code link just below the TEXT window you type in to make or reply to a message. It will tell you how to do all kinds of stuff in addition to pictures and links.

I'm "New" at AR15.com, but, I've been around other sites. The "Whoops!" part, in the title, was because of a little problem, I had, with the first post and I had to delete it. I think I got that http://url thing down now. I divide my time between my two "loves"... ARs & .22 rimfire. |

uh,
Tin-foil hat? Might be a tad too late. I should warn ya. If the weather is too crummy to go shooting, I usually just sit around watching "Tales of the Gun" tapes and sniff empty shell cases. Gunner1X, I understand! But, can I copyright my famous "Mad, Evil, Dr. Franken-ski laugh? It's my personal "Winky-smilie". BWAHAHAHAHA! p.s.-- With me, we drink JD or nothing! |

Welcome aboard! Nice couple of guns you have there. Howz come you chose .243 over .308? I always thought of the .243 as being a .223 on steroids.

A .223 on "steroids" OR a .308 "wannabe"! I don't know.... I was curious and wanted to try something different. I'm happy with the .243, flat shooting as all heck! I have a choice of 55 to 100 grn. loads, although, the AR10 prefers 70 - 90grn. Besides, All I need, is to change out the upper to a .308 anytime I want. Like having two rifles for the price of one.
