DPMS has a parts kit that has all parts except the stripped frame and slide for $159

I WOULDN'T PERSONALLY RECOMMEND IT (because I'm a 1911 snob), but Sportsmanguide.com has a kit that has EVERYTHING except the frame for $249. However, it is all Mil-Spec parts that are used but in "good" condition.
If you are looking for a "beater" type gun, it looks to be the kit to buy. Maybe it'd make a good glove-box back up or something...just a bit nervous about buying used MilSpec...but it's cheap! |
