While looking at an add in the newest shotguns for fulton armoury,I was scanning down the prices for there ar small parts,and beside the price listed for a hammer they had in comments "not chinese".I had always thought there were no chinese ar's or parts.Or is this what people mean when they say our parts are made by FN.

In 1997 a North Korean sub ran aground off the coast of South Korea. The crew was found murdered and the South Koreans chased some 15 NK commandos for 3 months before they were all caught. They carried Chinese made M16s. The pistol grips are shaped a little funny and the ribs on the hand guards are farther apart. I was there and the Army was on full alert.

If someone claims to have parts made by FN, I would be suspicious.

I thought that FN did not sell anyone besides Uncle Samstein.

Fulton Armory has a section in the Industry Forums here. You could ask them directly. My guess is that people have gun parts made in China and then sell the parts here. It is pretty easy to get parts made by the chinese and extremely cheap, a friend of mine looked into it (not for guns, for something else). I would guess that quality is pretty crappy. So I guess they are trying assure people that these are US made hammers, not Chinese made.

Somebody had pics a few months back of the Chinese AR15. IIRC, it was called the "CQ"? I think it was originally made for the American market but the '89 ban caused them to market them elsewhere. Canada?
