I understand the Stamp goes with the can. I know the can may go on any pistol it will fit.
Question: Are threaded pistol barrels legal on any pistol, even if you dont have a legal can?

Threaded barrels, in and of themselves, are unrestricted.  Any moron can own one.

With that said, it's considered one "evil feature" if the pistol is a semiauto.  It's ALL you can have on a postban semiauto.

State-wise, I think they're no good in Kalifornia on a semiauto.

Other than that, thread away!

Competition shooter uses threaded barrel for muzzle brake (compensator).  So I don't see how it can be restricted.  Don't know the law here in Kalifornia but doesn't matter to me.  I don't own any threaded barrel.

I was unaware of an evil feature list for pistols...

What are the rules there?

Depending on who you ask, "evil" features may include such terrible and unnecessary features such as:
  • Made of, or contains metal

  • Made of, or contains plastic

  • Made of, or contains any other material

  • Accepts 1 or more rounds of ammunition

  • Has a trigger

  • Isn't owned by a liberal

  • Is 3-dimensional

  • Exists anywhere within your imagination

acually, its more like :

semi auto pistol with 2 or more of the fallowing.

mag is located outside of the pistol grip (ar pistol)

threaded bbl.

weighs more than 50 Oz.

thats all i can think of, yah, its total bullshit. too bad for all those olympic style shooters with .22 target pistols that have an outside of grip mag and threaded for compensator. oh well, those people dont deserve to have a hobby. (extreme sarcasm)
