Just got a used Harris Bipod for my birthday and am not sure of how to install it on my AR10 Carbine. There were no loose parts in the box, just the bipod and I would like to use it on my AR10. I did a search for this help and found some information but not enough to get the bipod attached. Any help appreciated in advance.

Don't you need to get some sort of adapter?  I *think* the adapter mounts inside the handguard with a stud that protrudes down through one of the holes.

You need to buy the Harris #5 adapter.  I think they in about $6 or so.  Hopefully it will not bend your heat shields too much when you install it. Mine were bending quite a bit so I cut three 1/8 thick plastic strips and slid them in between the handguards and the heat shields, cranked down on the adapter and its very sturdy and no bent heat shield.  You may or may not have that problem.
