Ok, you Jersey guys - here's the situation - I have a friend in NJ that wants to get some sort of AK, and I'm trying to help him decide, but I don't know what is legal in NJ.  Are there any applicable restrictions on AK's?

Yeah, there's one minor restriction:

No AKs in NJ.
No pre-ban
No post-ban
No folders
No buttholes (stocks)
No nothin' AK.

Not legally, anyway.

Well aparently, there are plenty of buttholes, but they're all in the NJ legislature.

I thought as long as it was not called an AK it's OK.  Don't they ban stuff by name?  IM sure Norm_G is right, but is there a list of what is banned by name?
