I have an Armalite 2-stage trigger that I have installed in my AR-10 and I really don't care for how it is working at this point.

Right now, the first stage seems to be at 1 to 1.5 pounds while the second stage and release occurs at 4.5-4.7 pounds.  The trigger is crisp but the two stages are backwards from what I would like.

I want to increase the 1st stage so that it has a 3 to 3.5 pound first stage and a 4.5 pound final release (1 to 1.5 pound second stage)

Anybody have any suggestions on how this can be done? Would I be able to modify the spring in the disconector to alter this 1st stage? If I alter the 1st stage, will it affect the overall release weight for the trigger?
