Has anyone done a desert night camo with spray paint?

Found some stencil online but trying to figure out whats the best base color and one for the grid lines. My first thought was to try a tan base with OD green grid lines.

Just built up a new AR and want a little different paint scheme than the sponge stuff I have done in the past.

Aero Precision, although their coloration looks a little off…the tan is too tan. the green isn’t OD enough and not enough “blobs” (?):

I think it would be easier to have a green base, then put on a stencil to mask off the green lines and add the little tan squares over the top. Lining up a million little squares to mask off the tan parts would be... challenging.
