I've ,over time, seen enough old longuns with holes in the stock filled with beeswax, to think that it was a common way to fix them.

I've got an old Wingmaster ('50s one) with a pretty good chunk out of the forearm I've thought about trying this on.

(seems kind of period correct, and looks kind of cool too)

Anybody ever done this, or have any tips about how to go about it?  thanks guys  BD
