I am 99% sure I know the answer, but want to make sure I stay legal until I make a purchase.  I am looking at getting the 'YHM Phantom 5.56 Flash Hider for our Sound Suppressor' and the 5.56 suppressor.  

For now I plan on only purchasing the FH.  There should/is no problem with having this FH even though it is designed for a suppressor correct?  

It may be a month, two or a year before I purchase the suppressor, but I want to make sure that I won't run into any trouble with the FH in the meantime.

you will be alright but why would you do that?

what if you find a better deal on another can or something to that effect. Also the YHM comes with the flashhider.

Another food for thought is that I went with the .308 can so I can use it on a couple of different platforms.
