Does anybody know if any exist here

I remember Impact Guns (I think)  had one for sale a while back. IIRC it was a transferable and they wanted $75,000 for it.  Someone once told me there are less than 10 transferable Minimis in the country. I don't know whether that is true or not.

I sure wish a long lost rich Uncle would kick the bucket and leave me one in his will.

There are a few transferable M249's out there for  approx $85,000 each.

I've heard of only one fully transferable factory made in the US M249 and it sold in the $200,000 range several years ago.  There are also two transferable "Rewelds" that I have heard of.

There is one and only one transferable M249.  eta:  There are no confirmed rewelds that have been seen by anyone I know even though the rumors persist.  Much like the elusive transferable pre-68 import MP5 or 1986 registered Glock 17.

I must be confusing the pre-samples with true transferables.

Bookhound, grab the serial number next time you see that gun and email it to Dan Shea.  He can verify it's the real deal.

There are some sketchy M249s and M240s out there bearing serial numbers that seem to match those found on Mac 11s.

ETA:  There are a decent number of presample guns.  They come in two main strains: pre-86 imports brought in for DOD trials or by importers, or pre-86 samples imported by FN itself to set up the production facility in South Carolina.  The latter are built to M249 specs and are the better of the two strains.

What price range do they sell minimi's that are deactivated in the U.S?  What kind of price range is there for Real FN minimi parts kits in brand new condition?

Baret, we don't have any "deactivated" Minimis - US laws require destructing them.  The parts kits tend to cost about $2.5K for a used Minimi kit, and a new M249 is about $6K.

Well, who would you purchase the new MiniMi kits from in the U.S? And am i able to import those kits less reciever to you ? Let me know .

The kits (sans receiver) can be imported with the right paperwork, but the barrels cannot.  In any case, I'm not sure if they can come in legally from Canada as there are special restrictions on arms trade between the US and Canada.

What type of export permit would you need?

I can figure out the export stuff later, but you are giving me a start. I am ordering 1 at the moment and that one will stay intact, but I will have to call and ask a few questions then , thats funny they won't allow barrels but you can get recievers, its the opposite up here. Anyways I am curious as the going rates for complete 249 para packages or the standard 249 to see if it is feesible (money wise) to bring into the U.S. if any more info please let me know by email www.armacoat.net or pm me. Thanks
