It can be transferred directly to a C&R holder, but you must also pay the $200 tax stamp and file the NFA paperwork. i.e. you do not need to go through a class III dealer, but that's the only difference. Since there are no "new" registered MGs being made, eventually all transferable MGs will be C&Rs. |
