While poking around this weekend, I stumbled across a Mauser 98 that I hadn't seen previously that was stacked amongst some vz24's and Yugo's. I think it's a FN model 1950 in 30/06.

It has matching #'s, "B" 1950 crest on ring(IIRC), barrel looks crisp, straight bolt handle, corrugated butt plate, original stock with small repair(two brass pins) between nose cap and barrell band.
Sadly it looks like someone painted it with semigloss black over the blued portions and then painted the whole front sight orange but, it may be some other bubba'd spray on finish. Metal didn't look pitted or sanded.

Trying to find what a good price would be and if it's worth trying to resurrect?

Any input would be appreciated.

Deff worth saving esp if you can get it cheap.

If the bore and muzzle are good $ 100-150 as is would be fair. 06 cal FN Mauser are hard to come by and most fell to Bubba ..... I would push the low end $ since it has been Bubba Krylon'd
