Two of my FN 49s. One is a Egyptian in 8mm in outstanding condition with an absolutely gorgeous stock, and it's not a CAI rebuild. The other is a Belgian (AL marked) in 30-06 in VG condition.
I really like them, but never shoot them (I also have a Vennie  )My son expressed no interest in inheriting them and I was thinking it might be better to sell them now and let someone who really wants them to get them. What do you think? |

I'd say it depends on how much YOU enjoy them.

Unless you really need the money, habg onto them.
HERE is a link to an article on Surplusrifle.com on those rifles. Apparently they are scarce, so holding them may pay off later if you sell them. If your son reads that article he might decide he wants to shoot them. Or you could leave them to me. I don't mind an inheritance like that.  Jim |

Hang on to them!!! They will only appreciate in value. I have a couple rifles I don't shoot much, but I know that as soon as I get rid of them I'll want to. But then I won't be able to replace it.
