Doe anyone know about these rifles?  Is there a place one can go to search SN, manufacture date etc.  What about parts?  Are they available?  I need an inner mag tube.
Thanks,
Ralph

Same action and whatnot as a Marlin 60, Marlin 795, Glenfield 60, Marlin 70, Marlin 7000...etc..etc. Only differences are the Glenfield 75 has a banded fore end and a shorter mag tube.

This is what you need, right?

Yes that looks like it.  The measurements add up also.  I just wanted to make sure that that was the correct one as they speak of old/new model etc.  What's old and what's new? How can you tell?
Thanks,
Ralph

apparently "new" is after 1974. from the listing for the plug on the link i gave you. however i don;;t know if that applies to all Marlins or not.

i don't know if it's just a cosmetic change or if it's backward compatible. i'd espect it's both and that a new version would still work in an older gun.... but that's no always the case.

might ask at rimfirecentral.com they have a Marlin specific subforum.

good luck with your search. this is one of the reasons im not a but gan of tube mag huns. i've only got one or two of them and many  more mag fed guns and single shots.

good luck with your search!
