I have a Mod. 62 from the early 1930s someone says the 62A is the same exact rifle. Is this correct? I googled images but pics are not close up enough to tell.

Basically the same rifle.  The model 62 bolt has three pins visible in the top, while the 62A only has a single pin visible.

Do you happen to know if the 62 came with a sight elevator?

Mine looks as though it never had one and has always shot fine, but the guy is telling me it's missing.

I also have a 1970s 9422 which has the elevator.
