People claim that ceramic plates are only good for one hit so I bump fire a magazine of Yugoslavian M67 FMJ into a CATI Level IV composite plate. How many do you think it can stop?

I'm no expert but I've watched a few videos and I would think quite a few if the rounds are spaced out some (like I would expect in an actual shooting).

If you "really" need to know how many the rounds the plate can withstand you might as well look into purchasing an MRAP :-P I personally hope not to test my lv4 plates, but none is better than one if any hits at all.

I agree.

What are the. Halves of getting hit twice in almost the same spot?  You're going to flinch or fall after the first shoot. It's hard enough to shoot in the same spot on a static target at a known distance.

I wear my lvl 4 plates with very little fear of pretty much anything going through even if it's multiple hits.
