If you don't mind, could you elaborate a little further regarding your intended usage/applications? Here are some questions:
1) Weight––approximate load to be hauled? Any particular piece of gear of abnormal size/bulk?; 2) Cargo––are you looking to carry 1-2 days worth of gear or is this for 5-7 day loadout?; 3) Does it need to fit "carry on" commercial airline dimensions or is pack size irrevelant?; 4) Color/camo preference––are you needing a particular pattern or do you have a solid color that will work;? There is another pack you might want to consider: the Granite Gear Chief Patrol Pack. It is a fantastic pack with all the features you mentioned above. Don't worry about the price, I know somebody who has one on hand in Coyote Brown who can set you up! 
I think we can get you narrowed down once these questions become clear. All of the packs you listed are of excellent quality & design. Which is best for you is going to come down to your particular preferences & needs. In the interest of full disclosure, I am an Eberlestock, Granite Tactical Gear & Tactical Tailor dealer. I do have biases but most are based on real world usage & feedback from my customers... Hope this helps... |

2) Cargo––are you looking to carry 1-2 days worth of gear or is this for 5-7 day loadout?; 5-7 day loadout, but for someone who has traveled and backpacked enough to know how to pack light 3) Does it need to fit "carry on" commercial airline dimensions or is pack size irrevelant?; Pack size is irrelevant, but I dont want something that doubles my height. 4) Color/camo preference––are you needing a particular pattern or do you have a solid color that will work;? I dont NEED any particular pattern, but would probably lean toward green, or multicam I have a smaller Granite Gear Pack I used, and it is nice enough, but at twice the price of the other options, I dont know if it worth the extra coin to invest in the larger Granite Gear for what I would gain in return. |

I bought most of my Kifaru packs used and got them for far less than retail.

Eberlstock packs are pretty heavy for backpacking. That being said, I have used them for week long hikes and they were not a weak link, plus you are mil so probably used to rucking with a lot of weight. One thing I wanted to mention is that a bugout back should probably stay packed. I can see using it as a backpacking pack also but I would get something else for travel and deployments.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. Been a busy 48 hrs... Based on your reply, I'd say any of the packs you listed will work fine for you. If weight is a consideration, I'd probably omit the Eberlestock Terminator. The V69 Destroyer will definitely do everything you're wanting this pack to do. It is vertically arranged & will probably ride a little above your head fully loaded. You can also access your gear & internal compartments via either the top or front doors of the pack. It also features generous molle webbing throughout, allowing you to run additional gear and even a weapon hands free. The harness system is more robust than Eberlestock's tactical pack models & does a great job of transferring heavy loads to your hips. It is also going to save you weight, which can be a big deal when fully loaded. Finally, the Military Green color option from Eberlestock looks great & is versatile in both natural & urban settings.
