Has anyone purchased any of the stuff right from Crye?  The field pants are about the same price as the SKD stuff.

The material was a knock off, the seams were not sewn straight they are already coming apart after one wearing, some of the seams were not even finished, the manadrin collar looks like it was designed by a monkey and doesnt work right, the fabric is very thin. etc etc wtc

I spoke with the guy who runs that site, he said that yeah his first run was COMPLETE crap.  Unfortunately he had to send them out anyway.  His second generation that he's shipping now he says is much better. True quality stuff.  Until somebody buys some of his second generation stuff though, I suppose you'll have to take his word for it.

I ordered a set in November against Arfcom advice.
I emailed them a few weeks ago to ask why I haven't gotten them yet.
here's a copy of their reply:

Thanks for the wait. We have recieved larger than expected interest
in the multicam uniforms than we first expected. This cuppled with
the fact that we are changing the design to better insure the quality
and wearability of the uniforms to our customers has put a small
delay in production. We ship uniforms daily are are quickley filling
orders. Your order will be processed soon. To insure that we will
note on your order that you contacted us as to the status of your
order. Thanks alot and Merry Christmas. .

I have a set of ACU from Propper and I would say they are first rate quality, got them from BDU.com (do a goggle search). MultiCam though I would go with SKD, the guy knows what he is talking about and his prices are the best. The other dealer I would be very weary of....He knew he had crap and sent them out anyway?? That is not good customer service in my opinion and to admit that over the phone...well I would have to say "No Thanks"! Just my .02

I have also been considering ACU's, now I can get gear in ACU too....hmmmm
