I use a BHI DAOV Vest (my SHTF/BO Vest) with out the butt packs and I love the way it fits.  I just picked up an Interceptor OTV vest with ceramic plate in front and now wear it under my DAOV vest. Its kind of heavy and Im thinking of just adding the pouches to the OTV webbing but Im running into some problems. First, I wear my vest with a drop leg holster and subload which require a belt the OTV Vest doesnt have. Second, I use an NBC rated CamelBak that slides into a pouch on the DAOV vest.  To add the subload/holster and CamelBak I would need a belt and a suspender for it to work. Because of this I think its just better to wear the DAOV over the OTV armor. Any suggestions?

so you kept the DOAV?

the OTV does NOT have a belt, never had one never will

you WILL have to wear a separate duty belt/suspender assembly underneath the OTV, yes you read that  right, it rides underneath. to run the subload, but what does this have to do with the hydropac?

Kinda heavy, get used to it, lack of protection or dead?
