Have a 2 questions;
When you scrwe the front plate in do you need the strap and back attachment? How do you put the cat eyes on - above or below the plates?

cat eyes are the band that goes arount the helmet with 2 rectangular reflectors |

Cat eyes go on the back, not the front. You don't want them on the front of your helmet (unless you want to look like some sort of glowing-eye critter moving towards the enemy).
