I am looking for something to carry 4 AK mags. I have 2 full sets of Blackhawk and Eagle tac vests/web gear for my AR mags, but I am looking for something simple and affordable that can be put on and taken off quickly. It will be used mostly at the range, and carried in my trunk as an AK is my trunk gun.

I really like this Blackhawk rig, as it keeps the mags to one side opposite the rifle and out of the way. They only make it for 5.56 mags.

Something like you see being used by the OD green chest rigs Iraqi soldiers in the would be fine, if I could find one surplus.

Yeah, that looks like it would work. It looks very similar to what I always see the arabs using in news photos.

They're off I-65North on exit 4 in Indiana. They have some Tac-force drop leg pouches and cross-draw vests, etc. Looked pretty durable to me.
