I have this 870 barrel ,the front loop is near the end .
What type is this ?  .

Not rifled ,slug barrel [smooth bore] .
I am thinking about selling it ,dosen't fit anything I own . |

That barrel is for the 870 model #25077 which has longer (6 round) tube than all the millions of other 870 models. The 25077 has only been around for a few years and (AFAIK) it was the only factory model your barrel will fit on. The barrel originally came with a base/bead front sight, someone added a Wilson Combat type Ghost Ring type front sight to your barrel.

Wow, learn something new every day. Never knew these existed.
I wonder if you could make it work with a +2 extension. Although I would think you would still have to attach a magazine cap at the end of the barrel extension somehow to keep it pushed back into the receiver. |
