I'm a sucker for a 16 gauge. Soon as I saw the 16ga Citori come available again, I knew the wallet willpower wouldn't last long.
It's noticeably lighter than my 12 bore Superposed and a bit lower in profile, though not nearly as light as my English 16 -- not that I was expecting weight economy. Very excited to have a 16 with choke tubes that can safely handle steel, as well. The wood doesn't hurt, either

She does have some pretty wood. My pride and joy is a 1931 Superposed that was purchased by my grandfather and given to me by my father. I still shoot pheasant with her.

I grabbed my Superposed from the LGS two years ago. It's been on a few pheasant and sharptail hunts in that time and has accounted well for itself, but it holds nothing on a family piece like yours!
I wanted a Citori in the worst way as a kid (back before I knew about the Superposed), so it's nice to scratch the itch in a unique way. Always had a soft spot for Browning shotguns. |

I have a white lightning 16 at the house. It is by far my favorite hunting shotgun.
